Before/After
And I was walking down the cereal aisle and wanted to buy sugary Lucky Charms. I haven't eaten sugary cereals since I was in college. That was a light bulb moment for me. I need to allow myself occasional treats or this weight loss won't stick. After my long run last week, I made myself a small brownie Sunday. (FYI...brownie sunday = awesome) And I still lost weight.
This weeks progress:
Big Man | Δ (%) | Meg | Δ (%) | |
---|---|---|---|---|
Starting wt (lbs) | 258 | 0 | 182 | 0 |
Wk 1 wt (lbs) | 255 | .99 | 177 | .97 |
Wk 2 wt (lbs) | 255 | .99 | 176 | .97 |
Wk 3 wt (lbs) | 252 | .97 | 175 | .96 |
Wk 4 wt (lbs) | 252 | .97 | 173 | .95 |
Wk 5 wt (lbs) | 251 | .97 | 172 | .94 |
Do you have treats every day/week?

Wow, you look great! Congrats to you AND the Big Man! Keep it up, anyone who can have a brownie sundae and lose weight is doing something totally right :).
Awesome! You gotto give yourself a little treat some time, right?
10 pounds in 5 weeks? That's awesome!
Congrats on your weight loss. I have treats a little too often which is why my weight loss has stalled for the time being. I'm trying real hard to get back on the bandwagon.
Yep - I've gotta have the treats. That's why I am really liking Weight Watchers. It gives me a good balance, so that I can have that treat and save the points somewhere else. I am a sucker for ice cream, so I just try to have the lighter varieties and watch the portions. I was doing well this summer, but then the birthday parties and vacations started ... :( But I am trying not to beat myself up and just get back to it! Congratulations on your weight loss - I know how much work it is!!
Wow, that is a big difference in your face! Congrats on the 10 pound loss - great job! And I completely agree that having a bit of a sugary something keeps the major cravings at bay.
You looked very nice back then :-D
