Mmm...Beer

Over the weekend, the Big Man and I headed west to Lafayette to enjoy the Gulf Brew 2010, a local beer festival.  A fundraiser that benefits he Acadiana Center for the Arts. We tasted samples of as many as we could of the over 80 beers offered, many of them microbrews and craft beers made everywhere from Texas to Florida. And I love beer, especially when is cold on a hot July day.



We had a great time hanging out with the Rabs and drinking sampling beer.

Beer tasting tables. The samples are severed by "volunteers" who get in for cheep and get to sample after their shift. It's not a bad deal if you ask me.

They give you these tiny cups that they fill to the top and tiny trays that only fit two cups. Most tasting tables had 3-4 beers to sample.  There was a lot of spilling. See the Big Man's shirt below.
