Happy Bloggie Valentine's

Melissa at littlempknits came up with this idea for us to show our bloggie friends some love. We ladies, mommas, running chicks are hard on ourselves and internalize the negative things people say to us.

The idea is to make new bloggie friend and share the love. We send each other cards and/or gifts and check out their blog. I  love love love this idea. I mean, who doesn't love presents and new friends.

My Love My Neighbor buddy is Jill at runwithjill. I'm looking forward getting to know her thru her blog. She is a real runner (as in she's a running coach and in training for Boston Marathon) and a mom. She sent me lots of good stuff and card with a funny note.

Hope everyone out there gets lots of good hugs & snuggles for Valentine's and thru out the year.

February: Update

I know I've been blog slacking. We've been busy this month and it's only going to get worse.

The first weekend of the month we caught a parade, spent some time in the yard, and went for a walk. Three of my most favorite things.

Needed something to do with the coffee cans I've been hording
Decided to turn them into planters for cuttings

The weekend was Valentine's Day, my dad's birthday, and we had a wedding in Lafayette. Since we would be at the wedding Valentine's evening, I made a special breakfast. Corey gave me two dozen multi-color roses and a box of chocolate. I know it's cliche' but I love roses and chocolate.

Happy Valentine's Day!

One of Corey's friends from high school was married on Saturday. Although this wedding was on Valentine's, it wasn't cheesy. We all had a great time dancing, eating, and drinking. Li was in her element. She could run around like a wild person and dance. And she was allowed to eat two pieces of cake.

This past weekend was the busiest weekend yet. On Friday Li, MM, and I joined the Shuttle Sisters at the zoo. The weather was perfect for walking around the zoo. Mel , Laurin, and Kristy blogged about the trip.

We paraded all day Saturday, all day Sunday, and all day on Tuesday. We had a great time but we're all sooo tired. See my previous post.

Hopefully, I post more in March. But as you can see by my Social Calendar (to the right) March will be every bit as busy as February
