Only in Louisiana do you eat giant boiled cockroaches served on newspapers! We Virginians (by way of California and Hawaii) would NEVER do something like that....Unless you served moonshine with it! And maybe some ham biscuits!
We're Cajun. We'll eat anything that stands still long enough for us to catch it.
